Fifa Chief Operating Officer Sacked After Criticizing Infantino's Investor Plan

Fifa Chief Operating Officer Kevin Lamour has been sacked after openly criticizing Gianni Infantino's failed plan to sell parts of the World Cup to private investors. Lamour had stated that Fifa's administration was "deceived" and that the president believes he embodies Fifa rather than serving it. He had joined Fifa from Uefa less than two years earlier.
